Briony loved to shop. It was just that simple. She could afford to shop, so she did, every chance she got. She was at Mimi's looking at various things when she got a text from her dad saying he was going out of town to take care of some business and she had to take care of her mother. Briony shoved the phone back in her bag and looked away, feeling guilty. She didn't like having to take care of her mother. It wasn't enjoyable.
She shook her head and went back to shopping. She could take care of her mother later. She went into her own world of shopping and one where her mother was a normal, healthy woman, instead of a sickly, boozer of a woman. She felt horrible for thinking it, but she couldn't help it.

Meghan's favorite sport was 'shopping'. She needed a day away from the madness of unpacking and such at her house, so she decided to spend some cash. She remembered a trendy boutique in downtown Sugar Creek from when she was younger. As she strutted down the downtown streets, she thought it felt oh so good to be home.
Opening the door to Mimi's, she took in the smell of fresh fabric. God, she loved this place. It would be even better if my old friends were here, Meghan couldn't help but thinking. She smiled to herself, as she browsed a rack of funky shirts. Accidentally hitting her foot against one of the racks, she cursed under her breath. She hated it when she hit her feet into things, which she did quite often. Ignoring the pain in her right foot, she contuined browsing.

Briony heard something and turned her head, noteing a blonde, though she couldn't really see her face. Briony shrugged it of and went back to shopping. She walked over to the blonde girl and started going through the rack. She wasn't sure if she should ignore the girl or bring up the fact that this chick had just hit... something on something else. Wow... maybe she should just keep quiet.
She tucked a curly brown lock behind her ear and smiled at the girl. "Hi." She couldn't help but saying. "Are you okay?" It was in her blood, she had to make sure she wasn't like... dying or anything. It was doubtful she had hurt herself, since it didn't sound painful, but still. She looked back down at the clothes, she needed a dress for Bridget Hampton's party.

"Huh? Yeahm I'm fine," Meghan said, snapping out of her thoughts. Looking up, she saw a brown haired girl, who seemed sort of famaliar. Trying to be nice, Meghan added, "Oh, I'm Meghan, by the way." Meghan picked up a sequined top, and held it up to herself. Looking into the mirror, she frowned, and placed it back.
Seeing a gray, oversized shirt with a large, screen printed butterfluy on it. It looked a little big on herself, but Meghan decided she would get it anyway. If it was too big, she could give it to her big sister, Mandy. Next, a simple, plain white dress caught her eye. Meghan picked it up and smiled to herself. She would get the dress, because she could wear it just about anywhere. It was the type of dress you could make formal or totally casual.

Briony picked up a striped top and held it to herself. She made a face, thinking about it. She shrugged and draped it over her arm. If she didn't like it wen she got home then she just wouldn't wear it. "I'm Briony." She introduced. She liked her name. Briony, it wasn't something a lot of people around here had. She ran a hand through her hair and glanced back at the dress Meghan was holding.
"Ooh that's cute." She smiled, grabbing a tube dress. She wasnt really into tube dresses, but his was in the way. She moved it and picked up another dress. "Trying to find something for the party coming up." She added, trying to make conversation. Meghan seemed nice enough, granted Briony wasn't the best with telling people, she found that out over the summer.
