It was a hot sweaty summer day. Tyrone Herendez was told to take his dog to the lake. It was two blocks away from his house. He didn’t want to go though. It was to much to walk all the way to the lake and just stay there a few hours. Tyrone groaned and grabbed the dogs leash. Called his dog, then left the house. They walked side by side to the park. On the way he passed many girls. He had lived her since he was five years old and still he hadn’t met that many people. Tyrone was now a sophomore and was seventeen years old. He was a very smart kid, but his parents never gave him credit for it. But also he was a rebel at times, he was a skater and a surfer. He also played the guitar and had planned on joining a band. Until then he had to walk his dog and sit around on his lazy ass doing nothing all day. He just had to wait for school to start, and then the action would start up again. It was his second year of high school. It was amazing how fast his years went by from kindergarten to high school.
Now that he was at the lake, just at the edge of the Davis Park. Tyrone let his dog off the leash and sat down under a tree on the grassy hill. He watched his dog going to play with the many other dogs. He watched for awhile and then he grew interested in the surroundings and people. Tyrone missed hanging out with his friend. He had many friends at his school. He loved all of his friends. But most of them were busy over the summer. Tyrone brought out his ipod and turned it on. Then turned on his favorite song by the Jonas brothers. It was Burning it Up. He bit his lower lip and then leaned back onto his elbows. He shut his eyes and then paid back fully on his back. He listened to his music. Then his phone buzzed in his pocket. He ignored it. Tyrone felt relaxed in his spot. He must have been asleep for hours because when he woke up it was not as bright.

Bridget Hampton, hated the outdoors. It was either too hot, or too cold, too dry, too snowy. So as she and her golden retriever, Abby, made their way through the park, Bridget couldn't help but wondering why she had agreed to walking the dog. Oh yeah, cause I'm an idiot, she couldn't help but thinking.
Up ahead, she could see an empty bench, and wanted to sit down, and contuine reading her latest novel. Suddenly, she tripped over a sleeping boy, accidentally kicking him in the side. "Oh crap, crap, crap. I'm such a clutz. I'm sorry. Are you okay?" She asked, landing on her butt, her dog sniffing the strange boy.

Tyrone was half asleep now. He was just resting his eyes and he was in pretty deep thought. He was then tripped over, and then he heard a girl’s voice. Tyrone Herendez had always been treated like shit by his oldest brother. But his other two brothers beat the oldest one up. He was the youngest. Then the teenager boy opened his eyes. He sat up and rubbed his side. He said Its fine. I am used the getting stepped and tripped over. Yea, I am very much fine. he offered a charming smile and then felt a nose against his hand and looked down, spotting a golden retriever and he stroked the dog. Then another dog came over, his dog. Who was a german Shepard mixed with husky named Jasper. He patted his head too. Then he said Oh by the way. My name is Tyrone Herendez. You can call my Ty. and he looked back at the girl who was on her butt next to him. He shrugged and then pulled his legs into a crossed legged style. Tyrone pulled his ipod speakers out of his ears and shoved it into his zip up hoodie pocket. He bit his lower lip gently and this time got a better look of the girl. She was really pretty and he hadn’t seen her around before. Tyrone looked around and then saw Jasper playing with the girls dog. He smiled widley and then chuckled. There was a strong breeze and it ruffled his curly brown locks.

Bridget smiled at Tyrone. "I'm Bridget, and this is my dog, Abby." She said, pulling her pretty brown locks into a side ponytail. "And once again, I'm sorry," She said, and the looked aroung trying to find her book. Seeing it had landed in a puddle, she groaned. Just my luck, she thought, with a sigh.
She picked up her book, and tried to dry it off with the hem of her shirt. Realizing it was hopeless, she turned back around, and saw that Abby had taken a liking to Tyrone. She walked back over to her dog and Tyrone, and said, "Tell me about yourself. I've never seen you around, and I know everyone here." She smiled, just so he wouldn't think she was a freak or something.

Tyrone nodded and then added That’s my dog Jasper. pointing to the puppy playing with Abby. He then pulled out his phone when it started to ring. He answered Hey mom. Uhhhh. I am at the lake with Jasper like you told me too. Wait so you and the others are going to be gone all week. So I get to stay at home alone all week, no of course ill be fine. Don’t worry and I wont be throwing parties like the other siblings of mine. Nahhh. I already have a ton of money. Alright see all of you next week. BYE! and he slid his phone down. Then he looked back up at Bridget. He shrugged. There wasn’t much to know about him. Tyrone pondered and thought carefully what to say about himself. His heart beated and fluttered.
Well, I live in a very large family. I have a lot of brothers and a mom, step mom and dad. I go to my moms house every weekend. Umm. I play the guitar, skateboard and surf. I am sixteen and a sophomore. I have lived her nearly all my life. Tyrone said and then smiled. He shrugged. His life was never that interesting. He then looked at his hands. He twiddled his thumbs, he said Now tell me about your life. I have never seen you around here before. he looked up and then smiled. He looked back at the dogs.

"There's really not much to know. I've lived here forever, my parents own a diner, I have a brother, I generally try to stay away from big parties, I play soccer, I play guitar and sing but I'n not really good, and I mostly hang out at the bookstore." Bridget said, crossing her legs. "That's pretty much it."
She whistled, causing Abby to come running over. Bridget petted her dog's head, ruffing her ears. "Oh, and of course I have to take care of this pretty little puppy," She said, talking in a cutesy voice, turning to her dog. Because who doesn't talk in a cutesy voice to dogs?

Your life sounds as interesting as mine. But yours a little more exciting. Tyrone said and gave a small shrug. He looked around then park once again. Jasper came over and laid next to the teenager boy, its tail wagging and the tongue had fallen to the side of his mouth. He petted his favorite dog and family member. Other then his real mother of course. He hated his dad and soon to be step mom. Also his soon to be step sisters and brothers. He hated the fact that they might be getting married. Tyrone tapped his fingers on the grass and looked back at Bridget. He stretched out and then pushed himself up. He needed to move around. He asked Want to go for a walk around the lake with the dogs? he looked at Abby and saw that Jasper took a liking to her because he kept muzzling her and seem to be asking to be played with. He watched Jasper for a second and then looked at Bridget. He raised an eyebrow at her. Then he brushed himself off and shook his hair out. Leafs and lose peices of grass fell from his curly mass of hair. Then he asked You know that many people going to the highschool here or anyone around here?
